AM I AFRAID OF YOU?

“Am I afraid of you? /I dey fear you? (Nigerian Creole) “. That was the sound of me trying to scold my brother, and then it got me thinking that indeed I am afraid of no one.

Well now I can say I am unafraid but trust me there have been times when I have just been crazy scared of demons, evil spirits ,accidents, dying of a terminal disease, getting raped and just bad stuff generally and now I wonder what’s was wrong with me.

Yes, the world is a crazy place but as I keep growing in the lord and in the knowledge of His word, I have come to terms with the fact that HE IS FAITHFUL and I have nothing to fear .NOTHING AT ALL.

you know He says in

Psalm 91:10-11 (NKJV)
10 “No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways”.

2 Timothy 2:13
“If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself”. (NKJV)

God is faithful and since He says to “FEAR NOT” we can take Him at His word.

Apparently there are 365 “FEAR NOT” in the Bible, a “FEAR NOT” for each day.
In fact His word says  that He has not given you the spirit of fear but of Power, of love and of a sound mind. YOU DEFINITELY HAVE A SOUND MIND 🙂

2 Timothy 1:7(NKJV)
“7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”.

Do you know that fear is faith in the devil? No? Well it is, because it is believing the devil’s lies over God’s promises.

Also you should be unafraid because the Father’s word makes me understand that we need not to fear and going against the Father’s will is a sin.

Basically family, FEAR NOT!

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)

9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Jesus loves you immeasurably.
