Why the Bible is my standard

If you have followed my writings, you’ll realize that I always quote the Bible and use it as THE basis on which my ideas ( which are really the Holy Ghost’s) are built.

The Bible is not a book of “fairy tales”, Here is why

First of all, the bible is still the world’s best seller even though part of it ( the old testament)  was written more than 2000 years ago.

“A survey by the Bible Society concluded that around 2.5 billion copies were printed between 1815 and 1975, but more recent estimates put the number at more than 5 billion. By the end of 1995, combined global sales of Today’s English Version (Good News) New Testament and Bible (copyright for which is held by the Bible Societies) exceeded 17.75 million copies, and the whole Bible had been translated into 349 languages; 2123 languages have at least one book of the Bible in that language”(guinnessworldrecords.com)

Just tell me, what book has beaten that record.

Still not convinced?

Well nearly all prophecies in the bible have been fulfilled and current world events show that more will still be fulfilled. In addition to that History concurs with the Bible.

Yeah, you can do your research

In the words of Dr. Hugh Ross  “Unique among all books ever written, the Bible accurately foretells specific events-in detail-many years, sometimes centuries, before they occur. Approximately 2500 prophecies appear in the pages of the Bible, about 2000 of which already have been fulfilled to the letter—no errors”.

Thirdly, the Bible has transformed my life. There is so much to learn from the bible in terms of life application, relationships, business and wisdom among many other things.

This precious book tells me that

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)

Lastly in the words of a wise man. The bible is God’s love letter to me.

Therefore, besides the Holy Spirit, it is my connection to the supernatural.

You think God doesn’t exist? Read the Bible and you would be shocked to see the things you would find.

You think your life is perfect?  humor me and read the Bible then you’ll see how imperfect you and your life are.

You cannot tell me Jesus is not  the TRUTH when you haven’t read the basis on which I proclaim His TRUTH.

See, He loves you so much and He wants to show you how much. It is not enough for me to tell you about HIM. Read His word for your self and confirm it, so that you can accept His love.

Jesus loves you. Accept Him today

You are loved.

  1. Indeed dear, I totally concur with you and as much as you read the Bible, is not just enough but putting God instructions as written in the scripture into practice guarantee our profitable living; “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)”
