What is the Why?

In this era of entrepreneurs, everyone seems to be doing something. Lots of people seem to be singing, dancing, acting, making comedy and just posting on social media.

Doing all these things are fantastic but why?

Why do you do them?

Is it to be seen? Is it to be popular, make money or touch humanity.

If it isn’t about people, then forget it because you won’t be very successful.

People might not know why but God knows why and He works with principles.

I know this issue on motives too well.Related image

It is so easy to forget that whatever gifts/talents God has deposited is not for you. It is not for you to step into your “destiny” or purpose like we church folks like to call it.

Your talents are not for  you I repeat! It is for that woman to be encouraged. It is for that boy to be inspired. It is certainly not about you and your selfish desires.

It is about humanity.

All a man’s ways seem right to him

But the lord evaluates his motives – Proverbs 21:2 (HCSB)

People who have been successful, have achieved success because their work was about people.

Nelson Mandela, Sojourner Truth, and even the Lord Jesus Christ were all about people and NOT PRIMARILY ABOUT THEM.

Bless hearts and you will be blessed as well. Serve people, serve humanity!

Clean living before God and justice with our neighbors

mean far more to God than religious performance. Prov 21:3 (MSG)

“God sees hearts as we see faces” – George Herbert

You are loved and highly longed for.
