Your Choice,Your Power

Hello, it has been such a long time.I trust you are well. Although not everyone celebrates christmas, we can all agree that christmas, like a song writer wrote is “the most wonderful time of the year” . It is also a time to spend with family and friends. So Merry Christmas!

In this period, the Lord has been teaching me about the power of our choices. Life is a compendium of choices that are made. You know, choosing to eat healthy might be the reason you are still alive today. Choosing not to do drugs might be the reason you are not in Jail. Choosing to guard your heart, might be the reason your marriage is still prospering. What about choosing life?

Jesus was born at a time like this two thousand and nineteen years ago to give us life. His life makes all the difference. Of Course your life might not be perfect but it would be beautiful if you are surrendered to Jesus. Are you discouraged and burdened? Choose to give your burdens to Jesus(1 peter 5:7) . Has 2019 been unkind to you?Choose to find your joy in Jesus (Philippians 4:4). Are you worried about the future? Trust God (Proverbs 3:5-6).

See, no matter how discouraging your situation is at the moment, choose Jesus. He is the reason for the Christmas anyway.

Also, if you haven’t already chosen a relationship with Jesus, who created you. This is definitely the best time to choose His life over your currently non existent one. Your career cannot give you life, your spouse cannot give you life, you cannot give yourself life. Receive His life and your life would definitely not be the same.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” – Jesus

Have a blessed Christmas and a fantastic 2020.

You are loved,
